I had KVA come over to my rental property and fix the plumbing from previous plumbers that made a mess. I am absolutely thrilled on how well it worked out and the price was super reasonable. I definitely would recommend Doug for any of your plumbing needs.

Handled my heat pump install carefully and tried to make it all neatly done. Were open to my ideas and concerns and communicated any issues that came up with the install. I have yet to use it really as it’s a shoulder season, but looking forward to it!Priced very fairly as well I wanted to add

Unfortunately, I found them to be dishonest, untrustworthy and did poor work.Edit in response their response:I stated that you under-quoted the work! Doug was aware, at the time of the quote, that we wanted two vanities but he still only quoted one, it was a mistake on my part for not catching it because I assumed Doug knew how to do a quote properly."When you found out that we charged you for the vanity sink rough in that was not on the quote this is when the vendetta towards our company began."I have no particular vendetta against your company as I stated on the last line of my review, which I will quote again: "They might be a good company otherwise, but Doug isn't."Edit: found more poor workmanship after the fact: tried to remove our utility sink to do work behind it. Found out he glued(!!!) the drain pipe completely together so we had to cut the pipe to move the utility sink. Also installed our bathtub on unfinished concrete, so we had to remove it ourselves (not simple) so we could patch the concrete and install flooring. Pure incompetence.Did work without providing details (extra costs, etc). They did work without telling us costs. Under-quoted the work - only quoted one vanity install even though there were two - then charged $350 for the "extra" work (about 6ft of extra water lines). Work that they were aware of WELL in advance of actually doing the work. At no point did they mention that the work was extra and would be charged extra (until the bill arrived). They also charged over $1500 to install plumbing lines IN our living space (not in the walls). Check out this beautiful "work" (attached picture).Asked them (Doug) to connect the laundry exhaust directly to the laundry pipe (the "S" shaped pipe) but he said he would come back and fix it (he didn't). That black pipe is the drain pipe - he did not consult us before doing that - and yes, it's in the living area!They might be a good company otherwise, but Doug isn't.

- We are sorry you are not happy with our service.- When you received your quote and read it there was only one vanity sink quoted. If this was wrong why did you not let us know.RE Quote: (I have taken out your personal information from the quote to not share with the world)Darrell & Kandri LaRiviereLabour & MaterialRough in and finish for new basement bath.- Break up concrete floor to allow for bathroom rough in. - Concrete removal to landfill by others.- Rough in basement bath, one bathtub, one vanity sink, one water closet, one urinal.- If main plumbing in floor is not low enough to rough in bathroom and a sump and pump are needed please add $ -------- Install all customer supplied fixtures. We can save you an extra -- % on your fixture selection.- Install all Plumbing fixtures and test.- Drainage lines are ABS water lines are Pex tubing.- All of the extra's we did on your home were explained to your wife that the charge would be time and material.- The pipe you are calling in your living space is behind the Dryer in the corner and is plumbed that way to avoid cutting the corner of the wall apart and structurally damaging both walls.- We always glue our pipes on our drainage so they do not leak it is not uncommon to cut a drain line to move a laundry sink, a new coupling to rejoin the pipe is around $ cents to buy.- When you found out that we charged you for the vanity sink rough in that was not on the quote this is when the vendetta towards our company began.We strive to give our customers the best experience possible.

Furnace motor needed replacing. Absolutely the best service ever. A technician arrived within 40mins of calling. The motor was ordered and installed the following morning. Awesome Company.

Outstanding service and great product.Had a Gree heat pump system installed by KVA about two years ago. The benefits of literally having a zero carbon footprint as far as household energy consumption (no fossil fuel!) has been tremendous.Even the electrical consumption is low!KVA’s prompt installation and follow up on any questions was constantly available. Always helpful with any inquiries. Coupled with convenient financing, it only made sense to get on the heat pump trend.I would highly recommend KVA for any of their services.Tom Allen

I had a top leaking hot water tank that needed to be replaced. I contacted KVA Mechanical and they were able to give me a quote over the phone. They came in the next day, while I was at work, replaced the hot water tank and added new lines and shut off valves all within the quote. They sent an invoice and we were able to pay be e-transfer the next day. It was quality, professional work at a decent price and they responded so quickly. 5 star service!
